On Sunday night my friend made a roast for 10 – incredible – and I promised to bring a pudding. As the company was all women I decided that low fat brownies were the way forward. I got this recipe off The Londoner‘s blog but I had to tweak it a bit as I don’t have any pretendy pouring sugar in the flat so I used agave nectar and honey instead. If you don’t like honey then use just agave nectar (you can get it in any supermarket – I use it instead of sugar in my coffee, it tastes exactly the same).
I made mine using cup measurements because it’s so much easier:
3/4 cup Low fat yogurt
1/4 cup Skimmed milk
1/2 cup Cocoa powder
3/4 cup Rolled oats
1/4 cup Agave
1/4 cup Honey
1 medium egg
1 tsp Baking powder
Pinch of salt
I threw it all in and mixed it with a spoon. Baked at 200c for 30mins. It will come out gooey, that’s the syrupy sugar substitutes, It does firm up a little when cooled. Thank you Londoner!
